Introduction: Slash focuses on producing plant-based straws. The plant-based straws absorb carbon during its growth period and the process is low-carbon, as it can be naturally decomposed. These straws connect consumers and sellers who are environmentally conscious, as it drives green consumption. In addition, the plant-based straws are related to multiple SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) including Responsible Consumption & Production, Climate Action, and Life Below Water.
Environmental Impact: Last year, around 5,000 plant-based straws were sold. At the same time, the company received subsidies from the Industrial Development Board. In addition, the company has participated in giving speeches to reduce plastic use.
